O’Bleness Professor of Entrepreneurship

The College of Business at Ohio University invites applications for the
Director of the Center for Entrepreneurship (CE) with the possibility of also serving as the O'Bleness Endowed Chair of Entrepreneurship. We
seek a dynamic, energetic and collegial director who will be the
champion for the CE and its related academic programs (i.e., the
Entrepreneurship Major, the Entrepreneurship Certificate, the various
entrepreneurship-related student organizations, and related research
initiatives).  S/he will assist in academic planning; teach classes
within the various academic programs; cultivate relationships in the
College and University; manage the academic budget; and collaboratively
define/maintain the quality of students’ experiences within the CE.

To be considered for the O’Bleness Professorship position, the ideal candidate must have a research background commensurate with appointment to the rank of full professor

The CE is an interdisciplinary center that works with all of the Colleges
in the University and is a joint venture between the College of Business (www.cob.ohio.edu) and the Voinovich School of Leadership and Public Affairs (www.ohio.edu/voinovichschool/index.cfm). The University is very committed to assisting high growth
entrepreneurial firms, with an emphasis on firms in the Appalachian
region. We have developed and support several early stage equity funds
and the third largest rural angel network in the country.
