The main requirements of the post are to fill capacity within the Comparative and International Business (CIB) group and to contribute to research and the intellectual development of International Business Studies in the context of an inter-disciplinary academic environment. Teaching activities in the field of International Business are expected at undergraduate, postgraduate, including MBA, and executive levels.
You will be expected to develop research at international levels, to exhibit research leadership at the appropriate level and to be active in raising research grant income.
The post supports the strategy to merge International Business and Comparative Business Systems and is intended to strengthen the intellectual links between CIB and other disciplinary perspectives. The appointment will be for two years to cover for the replacement of a faculty member who is on a leave of absence.
