Job Posting Title: Assistant Professor of Management

Job Summary: The Management Department in the School of Business, The University of Connecticut invites applications for a tenure-track position in the Management Department beginning Fall 2013 at the Storrs campus.

The Management Department, one of five departments in the School of Business, actively engages in research in strategy, organizational behavior, entrepreneurship, and globalization. Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications: 1) completed Ph.D. in management, or related field, or expected by August 2013, 2) publications, or potential to publish, in premier management journals, and 3) demonstrated teaching excellence in higher education.

Preferred Qualifications: We will give preference to applicants with: 1) Evidence of pipeline for excellence in research, 2) Experience in undergraduate and MBA teaching 3) Excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrated collegiality, 4) Ability to contribute through research, teaching and/or service and community engagement to the diversity and excellence of the Department's mission.

Appointment Terms: This position is a full-time, 9 months at the Assistant Professor level. Rank and salary will be commensurate with background, qualifications, and experience.
