Rollins College invites applications for the position of Dean of the College of Professional Studies (CPS). CPS includes the Departments of Communication, Education, and International Business



The CPS charge is to build innovative programs while preserving the commitment to excellence embodied in accreditations from various organizations (such as AACSB, SACS, & NCATE; see the College website for more specific information on our accrediting agencies).



Rollins seeks a dynamic leader to help the CPS achieve its mission of educating students for responsible leadership, global citizenship, social responsibility, and environmental stewardship.



Candidates must have (1) an earned doctorate in one of the disciplines within CPS; (2) an academic and scholarly record sufficient to justify appointment as Full Professor with tenure; (3) an established record of effective leadership in higher education administration, accreditation, and development; (4) experience in program building, budgeting, and fundraising; (5) great communication skills and the desire to collaborate with faculty; and (6) the ability to integrate the philosophies of traditional liberal arts and professional studies within CPS and the larger Rollins community.
