Duties and Responsibilities
Teaching
Teach Management classes primarily in the area of Organizational Behavior at the undergraduate and MBA levels.
The ability to teach Entrepreneurship, Strategic Management and/or other Management area courses is desirable.
Research
Conduct research publishable in high quality practitioner and teaching oriented Management journals and scholarly books.
Service
Participate in service activities within the University and provide outreach to the business community.
Minimum Qualifications:
Earned Ph.D. or D.B.A. in Management or related field from an AACSB-accredited institution or equivalent, with expertise in the field of Organizational Behavior,
and demonstrated teaching excellence in higher education.
Preferred Qualifications:
Preference will be given to individuals with additional expertise in and the ability to teach Entrepreneurship, Strategic Management and/or other Management area
courses (such as Human Resource Management, Cross-Cultural Management, Negotiation, Career Dynamics). A demonstrated publication record is also desirable as is a record of either professional management experience and/or academic outreach to the business community.
Additional preferred qualifications include the ability to supervise students in learning accelerator projects and experience teaching at the Executive MBA, part-time MBA, and undergraduate levels.
Appointment Terms:
The position is full-time, 9-month, at the rank of Assistant Professor In-Residence, beginning Fall 2013. In-Residence positions are non-tenure track, but may be
renewed annually. Salary will be commensurate with candidate credentials and experience.
