The role

A Teaching and Research Academic position is available at St Lucia campus of UQ Business School for applicants with knowledge of and a PhD in international business.  Depending on the expertise of the successful applicants, appointment may be either at Lecturer or Senior Lecturer (Assistant Professor) level. 

The person

The successful applicant will provide academic development and teaching in international business as aligned with the Academy of International Business.  As well as teaching in the undergraduate and postgraduate programs, the appointee will be required to provide research higher degree and honours thesis supervision.

The appointee should possess a relevant PhD in international business with evidence of quality research papers and be expected to contribute to the School's research output in the international business field.

Remuneration

This is a full-time, continuing, teaching and research academic appointment.  Depending upon the level of appointment, the remuneration package will be in the range of:

·         For Lecturer (Academic Level B) $79,861.17 - $94,834.88 p.a., plus employer superannuation contributions of up to 17% (total package will be in the range $93,437.57 -$110,956.81 p.a.).

·         For Senior Lecturer (Academic Level C) $97,829.59 - $112,803.29 p.a., plus employer superannuation contributions of up to 17% (total package will be in the range $114,460.62 - $131,979.85 p.a.).

A market loading may be negotiated for successful applicants.
