The Knowledge Technology and Organization research
centre (KTO) at SKEMA Business School is seeking applicants for a tenured position at the associate, and full professor levels in entrepreneurship or strategy beginning from January
1 2013 or September 1, 2013. KTO is empirically oriented, with a traditional focus on Innovation and entrepreneurship, but our faculty also has research interests in
business and corporate strategy, organization, international business, information and knowledge management. KTO’s faculty follows approaches from different research perspectives
(including economics, strategy, organization theory, psychology, and sociology), maintaining a high methodological diversity. We offer good research conditions
and support, and access to the most attractive databases, such as WRDS and ThomsonOne.
Candidates should possess a strong research record
and successful teaching experience in a PhD program. The applicants are expected to teach courses such as strategic management, innovation, or international strategy and will have
the opportunity to develop specific courses in their specialty. Candidate should have a strong interest in the areas covered by KTO and the ability to conduct research at
the forefront of their field, to publish in top journals, and to contribute to the development of the KTO research excellence.
SKEMA Business School is
an EQUIS accredited academic institution. The position is located in Sophia Antipolis, on the French Riviera, within a large and expanding science park, also known as the French Silicon
Valley. SKEMA is one of Europe’s fastest growing business schools. It currently operates on three continents with campuses in France (Sophia Antipolis, Lille and Paris), China
(Suzhou) and the US (Raleigh –NC state campus) and has just signed a far-reaching alliance with Strathclyde Business School with campuses in the Middle East, Hong Kong, Singapore and India.
