Assistant Professor of Management/Strategy – International Business – University of Vermont

THE UNIVERSITY OF VERMONT, School of Business Administration (www.bsad.uvm.edu) invites applications for a tenure-track position in Management, with a focus on Global/International Business. The job is at the Assistant Professor level, beginning fall 2013. Candidates should have earned a doctorate by the start of the contract period. The position in global/international business addresses one of three major themes in the School's recently redesigned curriculum (the other themes being sustainable business and entrepreneurship), and the new faculty member will both add content to existing courses in the management/strategy area and offer electives in global/international business. The ideal candidate will undertake an active research program resulting in publications in top quality peer-reviewed scholarly outlets, and will have a strong commitment to teaching and advising at the undergraduate and master's levels.

The School of Business Administration cultivates and supports approximately 25 tenured or tenure-track faculty dedicated to management education, research and practice. The University of Vermont is located in Burlington, Vt. a small city that sits on the east side of Lake Champlain with the Green Mountains to the east and the Adirondack Mountains across the lake to the west.
