Dear AIB members,
This is a call to add one or two people to a panel entitled "Climate Change and Sustainability: Global and Local Perspectives" that has been accepted for the AIB-SE meeting from October 31 to November 2. The panel includes Prof. John Dilyard, Prof. Prashant Salwan, and Prof. Alice De Jonge. Prof. Dilyard will review and critique UNEP's Global Environmental Outlook 5; Prof. Salwan will discuss how Indian financial institutions are devising strategies to partner with local companies to finance climate change oriented targets imposed by the Indian government; and Prof. De Jonge will talk about the role of MNEs in building a global infrastructure for protecting the environment.
We are looking for papers and/or presentations that would be a good complement to those studies and would add robustness to the topic. Scholars who already are attending AIB-SE might find this call especially attractive, however it is open to others as well. Keep in mind, however, that early registration for the conference is September 15.
If you are interested, please send your idea, abstract, presentation and/or paper. I will be happy to share with you the panel proposal if you would like to see that before sending something for consideration. Preference will be given to those who respond quickly. I am looking forward to receiving your work.
