About the Panel Session: The proposed roundtable panel will explore different facets of relatively new developments related to innovation and global value chains, with a focus on emerging markets as key links in value chains. The panelists include senior executives responsible for innovation and global R&D in pharmaceutical and IT industries, the two industries that have been at the forefront in developing and utilizing global value chains for innovation and R&D.
