The International Business group of Politecnico di Milano would like to offer one post-doc position to one brilliant student who has already completed his Ph.D. in a foreign university and who is willing to spend two years in Italy in a stimulating research environment. Possible project topics include: (i) Foreign direct investment in R&D activities; (ii) Drivers and performance implications of outsourcing and captive offshoring; (iii) Geography of foreign direct investments, entry mode and Knowledge spillovers; (iv) Multinational firms from emerging countries: internationalization strategies and effects on host advanced economies. Applicants should have (i) a PhD in management, international business or related disciplines; (ii) an excellent command of English (and knowledge of Italian is welcome but not necessary); (iii) advanced statistical skills. The grant has a value of 35,000 € per year. Accommodation will be provided at Politecnico Residences in Milano at very convenient prices. The research project will last at least 2 years, starting from 2013. The first deadline for the submission of the CV is June 30th, 2012.
