Montreal Local/Global Research Group is going to have a panel session on
“entrepreneurship in the Islamic Societies” at AIB 2012. This is a
very pertinent topic specially after the recent uprisings in Islamic
countries. The session is sponsored by the “Emerging Economies” track
and is scheduled on Tuesday, July 3rd 2012, 2:30PM - 3:45PM at Continental
B (session 3.4.2). For administrative purposes, we would highly appreciate
those who are interested to participate confirm their attendance. Please

The purpose of organizing this Panel Session is to identify and explore
some of the potential changes and opportunities that will be experienced
in the uprising Islamic societies and exchange research ideas and insights
of how the expected “Islamic institutional environments” might
encourage/discourage entrepreneurial activities of individuals and
organizations.
