COLLEGE OF BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION

 

The Management and International Business Department at Florida International University’s College of Business Administration invites applicants for positions as:

 

                                      Assistant, Associate or Full Professor in International Business

 

Required qualifications include a Ph.D. in Business Administration or related field and the ability to teach undergraduate, masters, doctoral and executive education courses. Applicants should have a publication record in top ranked management and international business journals. Teaching will be primarily at the graduate level and will include executive education and offshore opportunities.                      

 

The International Business and Strategy faculty at FIU includes thought leaders in the field and numerous current and past officers of AIB, AOM, and SMS including Jose de la Torre, Mary Ann Von Glinow, Sumit Kundu, David Ralston, Ronaldo Parente, William Newburry, and Aya Chacar. Our IB program is ranked in the top 25 graduate programs in the nation and in the top 15 for undergraduates programs.

 

The College of Business and particularly the International Business programs at FIU are recognized as being among the top in the United States. Through partnerships with over thirty distinguished foreign universities, an advanced study abroad program and offshore MBA programs, the College has established international prominence.  The Department of Management and International business houses two nationally recognized centers, the Center for International Business Education and Research (CIBER) and Center for Global Entrepreneurship. Our faculty and doctoral students maintain strong commitments to the Academy of International Business (AIB), the Academy of Management (AOM) the Strategic Management Society (SMS) and the Society for Industrial/Organizational Psychology (SIOP) through publication, editorship, reviewing, conference involvement and organizational offices. We expect the faculty member selected for this position to amplify our commitment to these professional organizations.
