It could be something about replying to Danny's first message, which in my client (Gmail) shows up with 4 unnamed attachments. Your client (Eudora, from your X-headers) might see these even if you don't, and be trying to include them in a reply or something.

Nope, absolutely no sig file, I gave up on sig files a *long* time ago. And if I were automatically attaching a sig file, then that file would appear on *all* my outgoing messages (including this one), which it does not.

It's empty, whatever it is. I don't think listserv added it; there aren't attachments on any of the other emails.
Could you be automatically attaching a sig. file or something?
