Two new junior positions, at Lecturer (Assistant Professor) level, are open
at the Henley Business School of the University of Reading. Both positions
are in the new department of International Business and Strategy where the
Head of School is Professor Alan M. Rugman. One position has a
specialisation in International HRM and strategy while the other position is
open across all areas of IB and Strategy. Salaries are competitive at the
UK Lecturer level. One of the positions may be filled at Senior Lecturer
level, and for an exceptional candidate an appointment at full Professor
level may be negotiated. For the Lecturer positions we require completion
of a PhD in International Business or a cognate area, evidence of the
ability to publish in good refereed journals and a demonstrated interest in
teaching international business and strategy. These are ongoing positions
and present opportunities for interaction with worldclass faculty in the
Dunning Centre and for supervision of PhD students in our expanding
programme. There is a probationary period for Lecturer posts, which most
candidates accomplish within three years. Send enquiries and applications
to Kirsty Pitman, PA to Professor Rugman
