Hello to any Michigan Farmers on this list-serv, The MSU-Student Organic Farm Hoophouse Workshop Series has all but nearly filled up. If you were interested in coming to a workshop, but didn't register in time, don't fret. We've added additional workshop dates to the schedule so you can still sign up and learn about topics every hoophouse farmer needs to know. There will be two identical workshops for each topic. Please pass this information on to any commercial farmers who might be interested in attending. *2012 Hoophouse Workshop Series* *Michigan State University Student Organic Farm* · May 8th: Hoophouse Warm Season Crops-FULL · May 22nd: Hoophouse Warm Season Crops · June 12th: Hoophouse Pricing & Marketing-Two spaces left · June 19th: Hoophouse Pricing & Marketing · July 31st: Hoophouse Cool Season Crops-FULL · August 14th: Hoophouse Cool Season Crops · September 11th: Hoophouse Irrigation, Insect & Disease Management-Two spaces left · September 25th: Hoophouse Irrigation, Insect & Disease Management Time: All workshops are from 1pm-5pm. Workshop Location: MSU Student Organic Farm, 3291 College Rd, Holt, MI 48842 Who: Space is limited & is reserved for commercial farmers. Single Workshop: $40 per participant, and $20 for an additional participant from the same farm.
