DEPARTMENT OF INTERNATIONAL BUSINESS THE GEORGE WASHINGTON UNIVERSITY Position Announcement The Department of International Business in the School of Business at the George Washington University invites applications for a tenured position (Associate or Full) in International Business, to begin Fall 2012. All candidates must have a strong commitment to scholarly research and teaching excellence. Basic Qualifications: Applicants must have a Ph.D., an internationally recognized record of research and scholarship including publications on international business topics in top academic journals, with publication expectations commensurate with the applicant's experience. Applicants must also show demonstrated teaching excellence as indicated by teaching assessments or teaching letters of recommendation. Preferred Qualifications: Preference will be given to candidates who demonstrate a strong and continuing interest in conducting significant scholarly research in international business strategy focusing on political economy issues such as investments in emerging economies. Preference will also be given to candidates who show a strong record of providing academic and managerial leadership and service to their university and/or academic community. For all positions, rank will commensurate with the qualifications. Salary and benefits are competitive.
