To clarify Troy’s earlier posting.
The second option that we are offering will have you setup to have access to a program that will allow you to issue an unlimited number of certificates within your departmental sub-domain.
Our early experience with this program has been very positive and we have seen certificate approval come back very quickly (minutes to an hour) even though it is advertised as within 24 hours.
If any administrator has any other questions feel free to contact me directly via email or phone.
I am happy to go into more detail on how the unlimited software works or anything else related to this program.
We have an FAQ posted along with the article (click more information when viewing page at link below) and intend to keep building upon it as more questions arise.

For those that didn't see it today, MSU is able to issue low-cost SSL certificates for MSU server.
Individual SSL Certificate
• 1-year certificate - $15
• 2-year certificate - $25
• 3-year certificate - $30
