International Finance: The A.R. Sanchez, Jr. School of Business, Texas A&M International University. Position Title: BBVA Compass Distinguished Chair in International Finance (full-time, tenured position). Department: Division of International Banking and Finance Studies. Salary: Competitive. The base salary is consistent with those of AACSB-accredited public research universities and is supplemented with income from the BBVA Compass Bank endowment. Job Duties: The successful candidate is expected to demonstrate and maintain a high quality research program and to assume a leadership role in the research portfolio of the School of Business, particularly with respect to the University's doctoral program in International Business Administration. Will be expected to teach, mentor junior faculty members, and interact with the regional business community. Required Qualifications: Ph.D. in finance or a related field. Candidate must have demonstrated significant research and teaching accomplishments in finance. Excellent teaching is required, with focus on training Ph.D. students. Preferred Qualifications: Individuals seeking this position may have research and teaching interests in any area of finance, but international finance is preferred. Other Information: Texas A&M International University, located in Laredo, Texas offers BBA, MBA, and Ph.D. programs in its business school with special emphasis on topics in international business. The A.R. Sanchez, Jr. School of Business is the editorial home of The International Trade Journal and The International Journal of e-Collaboration.
