The University of St. Gallen, Switzerland – a leading University in Management, Economics, Law, Social Sciences and International Affairs – seeks to appoint a

Professor of International Management

by February 1, 2013 or by mutual agreement

You will join the Research Institute of International Management, develop contacts with international corporations and partner universities, and make a significant contribution to research and to teaching within existing degree programmes across the University. Depending on seniority, qualifications and experience, the appointment will be made at the level of Full Professor, Associate Professor or Assistant Professor (tenure track).

You will bring to the post an internationally recognised research reputation within the field of International Management, as demonstrated by a publication track record in leading international scholarly journals. In addition you will bring a proven teaching ability at the undergraduate, graduate, doctoral and ideally also at the executive level; fluency in English and at least one additional language; and a track record of research funding. A research interest in the area of emerging markets will be particularly welcomed. Finally, you will have a commitment to working across disciplinary boundaries, and to collaborate in terms of teaching or research with colleagues in the core subject areas of the University (economics, law, international affairs and social sciences).
