Tenure-Track Positions as
Assistant Professor in any the following areas:
Accounting-Finance, Management,
and Marketing
The Department of
Business at UAB invites
applications for post
doctoral, full
time positions for junior level
candidates in any of the following areas: accounting,
finance, management, organization
and marketing. The positions will be effective in September 2012 and continue over a minimum
period two years with
the possibility of being extended over other five years. There
are no
administrative responsibilities, but the newly recruited
academics are expected
to teach at the undergraduate/graduate level and contribute to
the department
through research. However, the teaching load will be
conveniently reduced
(English, Spanish and/or Catalan courses are available).
The Department of Business at
UAB has active teaching and research groups in the
above-mentioned areas with 150
employees. It is located in the Faculty of Economics and
Business Studies of
the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona.
Universitat
Autònoma de Barcelona was founded in
1968. It currently enrols about 40,000 students and 3,500
academics (teaching
and research staff) and is located at
Qualifications:
Candidates must
possess a doctoral degree in any of these fields received
before September 2012.
The successful candidate/s must demonstrate a strong
commitment to scholarly
research with potential for high-quality research and teaching
in
Business-related areas. The candidates are also expected to
actively engage in
research seminars and similar activities at the Department.
