Sharon, Like you I'm not a fan of 2 year contracts. Last year I picked up a used iPhone 4 off Craigslist and then used H2O Wireless. They are a pre-paid mobile virtual network operator (MVNO) which uses the AT&T network and you can change at anytime what you want, this month unlimited calling, next month unlimited calling and 250MB data, the next month after that unlimited calling, texting data and the following month only unlimited calling.
