This just in from the author of the how-to document I posted yesterday:

FYI - as of Monday afternoon the GUI was pre-packaged with that setting already in place if you want to share with the NAG list, feel free.  If people downloaded it before Monday around 4, they have the version without the pre-packaging.

Someone mentioned the Security Warning and clicking "Always Allow".  We had a situation where this didn't always get remembered, and this is how we fixed that:

Since SDS installed the updated SAP GUI on most of HR users machines in Nisbet some users are getting the following warning when they open SAP, sometimes clicking Always Allow works sometimes it doesn’t.   Having it come up every time is annoying. To make it go away permanently you need to change a setting in the SAP GUI

Go into the SAP GUI from the desktop shortcut- (blue triangle with a yellow swooping arrow) and click on the little icon at the top left corner of the SAP Logon 720 screen (right next to the text “SAP Logon 720”).  Select OPTIONS from the dropdown.

This opens another window. In the STATUS dropdown select Customized and in the DEFAULT ACTION select ALLOW.  Click APPLY to save your settings.

Attached is my deployment command script for the SAP GUI. I originally used

it for the roll out last year and re-tooled it for this new version. Tested

against XP and Win 7 systems with the old GUI already installed, worked fine.

Good luck, everybody.
