Colleagues: I recently sent out a request asking for a response and am now happy to append below the feedback received. The aim was to ascertain how many are changing requirements to include a global perspective as a requirement. Thank you so much for your help. INTRO TO IB COURSE AS A CORE REQUIREMENT FOR ALL BUSINESS STUDENTS Currently in Core: 1. Montclair State University 2. St. Louis University 3. Georgetown University (but thinking of changing it) 4. U of Texas - Dallas 5. Ohio State University (more than 1,000 per graduating class take it) 6. University of Wisconsin-Stout in Menomonie 7. Georgia State University 8. Oklahoma City University 9. Florida State University 10. University of Michigan - Flint 11. Northeastern University - Boston 12. Caldwell College, NJ 13. University of Houston - Downtown 14. Dominican University of California 15. University of Victoria - British Columbia, Canada 16. Southern Adventist University - Collegedale, TN 17. BYU - Idaho (students select Intro to IB or International Economics) 18. Carlton University - Ottawa, Canada (just added) 19. Loyola Marymount University - Los Angeles (required IB core class taken during junior year as well as a one unit globalization course taken sophomore year in new undergrad program) 20. Indiana University (from 2014-15) 21. Al-Hussein bin Talal University - Jordan 22. Kent University - UK 23. Clayton State University - Morrow, GA 24. Cal Poly - San Luis Obispo (students can take international marketing or international finance or cross-cultural management instead of IB) 25. New Jersey Institute of Technology (advanced level for juniors and seniors) 26. Stetson U - Florida (beginning Fall 2011, but any internationally focused is acceptable) 27. Youngstown State University - Ohio 28. University of Scranton - PA (Environment of IB) 29. Upper Iowa University (require an international course in each business major) 30. Metropolitan State College in Denver Colorado (in the individual majors (management, finance, and marketing) students are required to take the appropriate functional level IB course) 31. Longwood University, VA (International Economics) Interested to include in core (working on it): 1. LIM College - New York 2. Northwood University 3.
