The Department of Management and Global Business, RUTGERS BUSINESS SCHOOL - Newark and New Brunswick, is seeking applications for a tenure track position as Assistant Professor in in International Business, for the Fall of 2012. Rutgers is one of the oldest and most distinguished universities in the country. Rutgers Business School (RBS) and the Department of Management and Global Business has many world-renowned scholars. The International Business group in the Department is well established and has been growing steadily since 2002. The department also has substantial allied strengths in Strategy; the Management of Innovation, Technology, and Knowledge; Entrepreneurship; Cross Cultural Management; and Ethics and Corporate Social Responsibility. RBS spans campuses in Newark and New Brunswick, and the business school occupied a new building in Newark in July 2009, with a further new building in New Brunswick currently under construction. The New York and Philadelphia metropolitan areas include one of the largest concentrations of global companies in the world. We seek junior level candidates (A.B.D., recent graduates, or junior assistant professors) with potential for high-quality research and teaching in International Business and related areas. Preference will be given to candidates with evidence of research productivity and teaching experience. New hires are expected to teach on both campuses, although they may be assigned an office on either campus depending on needs.
