Dear AIB Members,

FIU CIBER <http://ciber.fiu.edu/>  is pleased to announce the 4
<http://ciber.fiu.edu/pdibindia.php> th Annual PDIB India Program designed
specifically for faculty and professionals interested in learning about the
Indian business environment.  We are currently accepting applications for
faculty and professionals interested in participating in this exciting
program, taking place January 3 - 10, 2012 in Bangalore and Mumbai, India.

Participants will visit multi-national companies such as, Siemens, Infosys,
Welspun Ltd., Caterpillar, and GlaxoSmithKline, interact with top executives
and discuss how these leading companies are riding the downfall, while
simultaneously reshaping the Indian business environment resulting in a more
competitive India.

To understand India's complex social structure, the group will visit
Dharavi, Asia's largest slum and witness how the Dabbawala, the
internationally recognized lunch distribution system, functions. Cultural
visits will also be organized to historical places such as the Bull Temple,
the botanical gardens of Lal Bagh, and Elephanta Caves. 

The program fee is $3,000 USD per participant and includes hotel
accommodations with breakfast (single occupancy), domestic flight between
Bangalore & Mumbai, all ground transportation, entry to cultural locations,
and some meals. This fee does not include international airfare.
Participants may be accompanied by spouses for an additional $600 USD, which
includes all cultural visits and some meals. For a reduced program fee,
please inquire about the double occupancy rate.
