Dear Colleagues,
We would like to welcome you to the inaugural EIASM Workshop on Talent Management, to be held in Brussels on April 16-17, 2012.
The workshop is intended to provide a forum for academic debate on the field of talent management. Talent management has gained a central position in managerial practice and is some which occupies a significant amount of managerial time and resources. However, the academic community has been somewhat slower to embrace the idea of talent management and academic study of the topic lags behind practice.
This workshop is designed to bring together leading scholars working in the area of talent management with the intention of developing the academic grounding and standing of the file of study.
The hope is to bring together scholars from a number of traditions including psychology, management, sociology, strategy and other cognate fields which can contribute to this emerging area
of study.
