Little concerned – saw a motorcycle accident outside Olds Hall this morning and tried dialing 911 from an Avaya desk phone and got nothing. No ring tone, no call success, just sat there on a partially dialed line. Tried 8-911 for an outside line and also got nothing. I ended up having to dial 5-2221 for the non-emergency dispatch and transferring over to 911 dispatch from there. Shouldn't the Avaya phones be capable of dialing 911?
