Everyone, As a reminder: The document that provides guidance for reporting security issues at Michigan State University is located on the lct.msu.edu web site under "guidelines and policies". This is the full url: http://eis.msu.edu/documents/guidelines_for_internal_and_external_reporting_1jan11.pdf If you have a security incident, concern, or question, please call the ATS Helpdesk at 432-6200. These issues are forwarded to my team Network Management and Security. Confidential Data is defined in the Institutional Data Policy in Appendix I. Examples of Confidential Data include: Social security numbers, payment card numbers, bank account numbers, health records, student records, and more.
