CHINESE UNIVERSITY OF HONG KONG DEPARTMENT OF MANAGEMENT Position Announcement The Department of Management at Chinese University of Hong Kong invites applications and nominations for a tenure-track appointment to begin in Fall 2012 subject to budget approval. The rank of the appointment is open to assistant, associate, and full professor. We welcome applications from candidates engaged in high-quality scholarship in all areas of management, including entrepreneurship, human resource management, international management, organization behavior, and strategic management. Applicants should have a Ph.D. in Management or a closely related discipline. Candidates should be strongly committed to excellence in scholarly research, teaching and service. Appointment at associate and full professor levels requires an academically qualified scholar of national and international stature. Responsibilities include publishing high-quality scholarly research, teaching management courses at undergraduate and graduate levels, and participation in academic and professional activities. The appointee is also encouraged to apply for external funding to support research endeavors. Salary will be highly competitive, commensurate with qualifications and experience. The University offers a comprehensive fringe benefit package. The Department focuses on management education and research with specific relevance to the Asia-Pacific region. It comprises a team of academics with extensive international experience who engage in a wide range of research projects related to organizational behaviour, human resource management, strategic management, international management and entrepreneurship.
