Dongbei University of Finance & Economics was founded in 1952 and is one of leading universities in China in finance, economics, management and tourism areas.

 

Global Institute of Management & Economics is an institution dedicated to providing excellent education service at undergraduate and postgraduate levels for international as well as Chinese students. It boasts dynamic multicultural teaching team with staff, from the UK, USA, Australia, Canada, Germany, etc. who come from diverse academic and industry backgrounds. As a result of the strategic growth of the institute, we are seeking three Assistant Professor/Associate Professor positions in Business Management and Finance & Economics whose expertise is within one or more of the following areas---international business management, marketing, human resource management, financial management, and finance & accounting.

 

Responsibilities

 

Our ideal candidate will have proven university teaching and research ability, along with relevant professional experience:

 

ü  to have significant input to teaching and dissertation supervision at undergraduate and postgraduate levels

ü  to engage in course design and management, curriculum review and new course validation process

ü  to conduct research in relevant areas and contribute to developing the institute’s research profile.

ü  to support colleagues and participate in Global Institute of Management & Economics, DUFE administrative work as appropriate.

ü  to undertake any such other duties within the scope of the post as may be requested by your director.

 

Qualifications

 

Ø  A doctoral degree in a relevant discipline at the time of appointment.

Ø  Good command of English to teach in English

Ø  Proven experience or capability of delivering high quality teaching and research output

Ø  Professional experience in relevant fields would be an advantage

 

Remuneration Package

 

Ø  Salary offered will be commensurate with qualifications and experience

Ø  Benefit package: accommodation allowance, relocation allowance and medical insurance, and paid leave

Ø  Relocation assistance: flight and luggage allowance, one week temporary accommodation near campus, and support in finding long-term accommodation

Ø  The institute encourages all academic staff to engage in research activities and provide research funds up to USD 7,500 for fieldwork, conference, and publication in the International academic journals of the SSCI/SCI/SCI-E search.
