If you want the whole experience (syncing of contacts, calendars and emails), then you have 2 options.

1.       Purchase an ActiveSync software for the blackberry device, but you will be paying a per device annual license.

a.       AstraSync http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2507938

b.      NotifySync http://www.notifysync.co.uk/

2.       If you have the server space (or even just a spare desktop) you can install BES express for free.

a.       http://us.blackberry.com/apps-software/business/server/express/

If your just looking for email sync then just configure the device to use IMAP or POP with your exchange server.

If you go with the BES path and would like some help, just let me know!

Subject: [MSUNAG] Getting a Blackberry to talk to Exchange 2010?

I have one user who has a Blackberry Torch. The phone is apparently running version 6 of the OS. What are my options for getting this to sync with our Exchange server? For one user, I don’t see the point of messing with something like BES, but I’m not finding any other way to do this that I really like. Seems like this should be easier.

Thanks for any suggestions,

Al
