Academic Positions at the University of Sussex, UK

The Department of Business & Management at the University of Sussex (Brighton, United Kingdom) is undertaking a major expansion and is inviting applications for nineteen faculty positions, including three in International Business (and four in Marketing, and one in Strategy). The Department is one of the key components of the recently established School of Business, Management & Economics, together with the Department of Economics (with its strong reputation for development economics and international trade) and SPRU (the internationally-recognised centre for policy-related research and work on climate change and innovation). The Department will be hosting the Annual Conference of the European International Business Academy (EIBA) in December 2012.

We are looking to appoint research-active faculty at Reader, Senior Lecturer and Lecturer levels. Applicants for lectureships should have experience in convening courses, and be able to demonstrate their potential as researchers through first publications. Candidates for senior lectureships should have developed a strong publication record and teaching portfolio, and be able to demonstrate the ability to raise research funds and/or take on administrative roles. Applicants for appointment at the Reader level should have a substantial track record in research, teaching and administration.

Further information about the posts, and application forms, are available at www.sussex.ac.uk/Units/staffing/personnl/vacs/vac311.shtml<http://www.sussex.ac.uk/Units/staffing/personnl/vacs/vac311.shtml>
