Dear Fellow AIBERS

I am working on a paper where it is preferable to use  a 1/Masculinity and 1/Individualism transformation . Is this an acceptable thing to do given the way the scales and scores were created?  If yes or no does anyone have a cite on this. Your help is greatly appreciated.
