Innovation and Entrepreneurial Development: The Economic Future of Latin America
The Latin American Council of Schools of Management (CLADEA) and the Ana G. Méndez University System (AGMUS) invites academics, administrators, and practitioners to participate in the XLVI Assembly of CLADEA. This event is designed for all people whose research is related to the study of Latin American Business and Economic development, especially in terms of innovation and entrepreneurial development.
Guidelines for Submitting Proposals
Papers may be submitted in Spanish, Portuguese, or English. Text, quotes and bibliographic references must follow style guidelines established by the American Psychological Association (APA) 6th edition. Papers will be reviewed by scholars in each track under a blind review process.
To personally present a paper and have it included in the Conference proceedings publication, at least one of the authors must be dully registered to attend the CLADEA 2011 Annual Conference and have paid the corresponding registration fee. The presented papers may be considered for publication on a special issue of ACADEMIA.
The papers must be unpublished and must relate directly to one of the following tracks:

Style guidelines for submitting papers:
To have a paper considered, authors must provide the contact information requested in the section for submitting papers.
Format guidelines for submitting papers:
1. Letter size paper (8.5” x 11”)
2. MS Word for Windows (1997-2003 o more recent)
3. Font: Times New Roman, Size: 12
4. Double Spaced (2.0)
5. One inch (1”) margins all around (top, bottom, right, left)
6. Titles centered, in bold, font size 16
7. Subtitles aligned on left margin, bold, font size 14, single spaced
Text guidelines for submitting papers:
1. Do not include name(s) of author(s)
2. The paper must have the following sections:
a. Abstract: 200 words maximum
b. Three Keywords
c. Introduction
d. Theoretical Basis (Literature Review)
e. Research Objectives
f. Methodology
g. Data Analysis
h. Results Conclusions j. References (APA style)
i. Appendix, tables, figures and/or graphs (APA style)
3. Number of pages: eight (8) minimum and sixteen (16) maximum, including illustrations, notes, and bibliography.
Guidelines for the Abstract:
1. Do not include name(s) of author(s)
2. Submission of the abstract is required to ensure the paper’s topic adheres to the track indicated by the author(s).
3. The abstract should have no more than 300 words and its content must include a brief introduction, the methodology, results and conclusions.
