Dear Colleagues,

I am presently editing a book entitled “Handbook on the Geopolitics of Business.”

As you know, geopolitics – the intersect of economics, politics, and geographical developments – impacts global corporations in profound ways. There is a need to understand how companies can best manage these contemporary geopolitical dynamics. The book aims to bring together leading thinkers on the subject from around the world. It is backed by a major international publisher, and is geared to be the reference book on the subject.

I would like to invite you to submit a chapter proposal. Each chapter would be about 10 pages (roughly 4,500 words) and have a one year timeline for completion. All submitted work must be original and not previously published.

Each chapter will feature a geopolitical issue, and will discuss its impact on the global corporation. Potential subjects include :

Regional economic integration

International trade developments

International organizations (IMF, World Bank, etc) and their policies

Emergence of BRIC

Oil prices

Terrorism and war

Corruption and crime

Geopolitical concepts and cases

Geopolitical risk

Political divide and conflict
