The International Sustainable Development Research Society will be holding its 17th annual conference in New York City on May 8-10th. This will be the first time the Society meets in North America, and the undertaking is a collaborative effort with the Earth Institute at Columbia University and is designed to formulate tracks for the sustainability research agenda at the Rio+20 conference in 2012 (see uncsd2012.org).
