CONSORTIUM FOR INTERNATIONAL MARTKTING RESEARCH (CIMaR) 2011 MEETING,

GEORGIA STATE UNIVERSITY, ATLANTA, GEORGIA

SUBMISSION DEADLINE EXTENDED UNTIL 15 FEBRUARY 2010

The Georgia State University CIBER is delighted to host the 2011 CIMaR Conference in Atlanta April 6-9, 2011. The theme of the 2011 CIMaR Conference is: “Marketing Issues in the Global Supply Network: Theoretical and Empirical Directions for Future Research.” As the host institution for the 19th conference, we are striving to continue the tradition of combining excellent academic content with collegial hospitality as demonstrated by recent conferences held in Oslo (2010), Beijing (2009), Rio de Janeiro (2008), Manchester (2007), Istanbul (2006) and many others.

CIMaR is well-known as the key networking opportunity for leading scholars of international marketing. The annual conference serves as a venue to exchange ideas and meet new colleagues. While some sessions are dedicated to presentations of completed research, others are organized to propose new projects and invite the participation of others. Since CIMaR attracts established as well as junior scholars from around the world, the annual event offers an excellent opportunity to engage in lively discussions and to develop contacts for joint work.

The venue for the 2011 meeting is InterContinental Hotel Buckhead. A special conference rate of $139 per night has been negotiated for CIMaR participants. Professors Dan Bello and Ihsen Ketata serve as co-chairs. For more information on 2011 CIMaR Conference visit: http://robinson.gsu.edu/cimar
