The new Call for Proposals/Posters website for the 2011 Equity
Within the Classroom Conference, The Changing Face of America:
Helping Michigan Compete, hosted at Michigan Technological
University on March 27-29 and sponsored by the King Chavez Parks
Initiative, the 15 Public and 5 Private Universities, GEAR UP Michigan!
and Michigan Campus Compact is open.
We know that many of you have exciting research and programs to share
with colleagues across the State. So, over the holiday break or soon,
we
invite you to submit a proposal for a presentation, workshop or poster
for the Conference.
Just go to www.diversity.mtu.edu/equityconference
for
instructions and to complete and down load proposal forms. Proposals
are due Monday, January
17. We look forward to your submission and active participation in the
state of Michigan 2011 Equity Within the Classroom Conference.
The Conference registration will be posted in early February, and the
featured speakers and hotel information will be ready soon!
