We’ve used Fortres Grand for about a decade in our computer lab and I prefer the approach to Deep Freeze. Rather than restore disk image state it just locks down aspects of the system with more granular control than is available in Windows XP. I’ve not looked into what policies are available in Windows 7 – perhaps much of this functionality is now built-in.
