I have been sharing this study with my lab, and thought with the influx of job ads that the list might find it interesting as well. I was aware of the studies that look at differences in how people treat CVs in relation to perceived gender and ethnicity of applicants, but I was unaware that letters of recommendation could be biased! And, since when is collaboration a bad thing?!?!?
