Successful candidates are required to have a PhD degree in Chemistry or Chemistry Education. The responsibilities of this position will be to coordinate first year chemistry, supervise chemistry education masters and doctoral students, and conduct funded research in chemistry education and science education. The successful candidate will have opportunities to teach undergraduate courses in chemistry and graduate courses in science education. The position involves a joint appointment to the Department of Chemistry and the nationally ranked Mallinson Institute for Science Education. The working environment is highly collegial with strong emphasis on cooperative research and development. Salary and start-up funds are competitive.
