Insurance companies are legalized scams....they pick and choose for a variety of reasons that make absolutely no sense. I have State Farm and there are no issues, yet... If the reason you say is true, maybe a complaint to the insurance regulators in Lansing might give some relief? If you have had any claims, they look for reasons to raise rates or drop people....should not be legal, should have to take the good and bad risks regardless.....

farm's insurance after twenty or so years due to our recent conversion
to organic status. Apparently, from what I understand, because any
health issues etc. that _might_ be present in our products can be traced
back to the farm, State Farm does not insure any organic farms.
Anyway, I checked a local "Independant" insurance agent in my hometown
and found that I couldn't get insurance there either.
Does anyone know or have any suggestions as to where I can obtain
reasonably priced insurance for an organic certified farm?
