EATING SMART Healthy Local Food in Grand Traverse Area Catholic Schools by Christopher B. Bedford


The Grand Traverse Area Catholic Schools recently evolved themselves in a pioneering school lunch program.  Chris Bedford produced a 4 minute video portraying the leadership role of Grand Traverse Area Catholic Schools under superintendent Michael Buell in bringing fresh, healthy local food to 900 students.  To view the video visit www.vimeo.com/12714576. The Cottage Food Bills and the Maple Syrup/Honey exemptions from licensure for firms under $15000 in sales have passed the house. 

The votes are as follows:
 


All three bills will now go to the Senate for their consideration.
