My master research was related to assessment of high school students. I am not sure if the final paper is available through Michigan Technological University's Library, yet since I finished the work last December. If you are interested let me know an I can send you a pdf copy when I am at a computer that contains the file. I utilized a pre and post attitude assessment Used the GCI, Libarkin & Anderson Also and Essay pre-post assessment Since it was related to education, I used effect size and percent gain. If memory serves Thompson has an article that discusses the use of these in educational research as compared to the standard t-test. I am about to write things up for a scientific paper and I am not sure whether I should use repeated measurements or two series of t-tests to analyze the quantitative questions. Does anyone have experience with this topic? There are just too many papers out there and I am not sure about their reliability. I would very much appreciate any suggestions. Thank you very much Britta
