Growing Mushrooms for Fun and Profit Article

Rebecca Hargrave wrote an article, Growing Mushrooms for Fun and Profit Article in the Small Farms Quarterly (April 5, 2010), a publication distributed by Cornell University, which focuses on agroforestry mushrooms grown in logs or woodchips in the understory of a forest. If interested contact a mushroom supplier to discuss the best mushroom strain(s) for you, because it’s easiest to match the fungus strain with the trees you have. To read full article visit http://www.smallfarms.cornell.edu/pages/quarterly/archive/spring10/4.pdf. For more information about agroforestry mushrooms, including links, videos, workshops and detailed instructions, visit NY Forest Mushrooms Growers Network http://mushrooms.cals.cornell.edu.
