I've been favoring the E6400 as a replacement for the D630. Generally they're great machines, but of dozen or so that I've deployed, I've had problems with several. I think there was a panel that was replaced on one after it kept going to a white screen, at least one motherboard replacement and I think a hard drive or two. Also, an E6500 needed the dock replaced on arrival since the speaker port didn't work.
