I’ve been burned pretty badly using SCVMM (virtual machine manager), but I’ve used SC Data Protection Manager with great success. Never used SCCM though.

Subject: Re: [MSUNAG] System Center Configuration Manager

We at RHS Information Services are looking to set up SCCM as well and would be likewise interested in any advice.

Are there any units on campus running SCCM 2007?  I’m interested in rolling it out here to simplify software deployments and updates, inventory management and OS deployments.  Aside from the TechNet documentation, can anyone recommend a book or other resources to learn more about it and how to set it up?

Thanks in advance!
Jon
