Hi guys,

I set up two of those when that product first shipped, but my former team is working on making it run in admin.

Best advice I give you is to follow the server recommendations out lined in the Microsoft Press book, and or current technet diagrams.  Trying to make it all work from one server is a “Bear”.  Have either of you guys used SMS2003 before and have rolled out .msi packages?

Have a good day.

We at RHS Information Services are looking to set up SCCM as well and would be likewise interested in any advice.

Are there any units on campus running SCCM 2007?  I’m interested in rolling it out here to simplify software deployments and updates, inventory management and OS deployments.  Aside from the TechNet documentation, can anyone recommend a book or other resources to learn more about it and how to set it up?

Thanks in advance!

Jon
