All the traffic last week on the digital textbooks and inquiry teaching programs gave me the idea to request lessons from the list-serv group.  I started tallying the resources from last week and figured I would add any more the group could give.  So to make a short answer long.  Yes it is appropriate and I plan on recommending the SERC site.

I did a quick search of the SERC website for "human impact
groundwater" under teaching activities and got 242 hits. So there are
many options there:
